Third Key Store or Plant Location

Immediate Supervisor: Store Management

Job Summary: The Third Key is responsible for store operations in the absence of management.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Delegate through others….set an example for the store
Monitor each department to ensure proper coverage
Knowledge of emergency procedures (Alarm system, call list, etc.)
Communicate effectively with employees, customers, management and corporate officials.
Working knowledge of loss prevention procedures (camera room)
Report to management any incidents while on duty
Handle customer complaints as needed
Perform opening and closing procedures
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Note: The Head Financial must be in the Financial area and Department Supervisors/ Asst. Supervisors must be available in all departments. If the Third Key is the Head Financial, another Financial Clerk must be present.

Special abilities, required skills, or education needed to perform the essential job functions: Knowledge of Hamrick’s; Must currently hold a position of responsibility with Hamrick’s (Secretary, Head Financial or Dept. Supervisor).

Physical demands of the job: Bending, stooping, lifting (up to 25 lbs.), and standing for long periods of time.

OSHA Standards: This job is classified as a category “3” for being at risk or exposure to HIV, hepatitis, and other infectious diseases.
