Truck Driver

Transports shipment to and from plants and retail stores as directed by Dispatcher.

Immediate Supervisor: Dispatcher

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Transport goods (driving) by means of tractor trailer
• Load and unload trucks
• Log DOT information daily, abide by all DOT regulations
• Operate pallet jacks or forklift
• Perform daily safety check of truck and trailer before leaving
• Perform other duties assigned by management

Special abilities, required skills, or education needed to perform the essential job functions: C.D.L. license, forklift and road experience required.

Physical demands of the job: Job requires bending, standing, heavy lifting (100 lbs.+) and physical ability to operate a tractor trailer truck.

OSHA Standards: This job is classified as a category "'3" for being at risk or exposure to HIV, hepatitis, and other infectious diseases.
