Position Title: Payroll Clerk
Store or Plant Location
Immediate Supervisor: Payroll Manager
Job Summary: The Payroll Clerks responsibilities mainly consist of producing payroll reports and checks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Enter employee data (new hires) into the ADP software
• Check and match all Employee Change Reports and Exports
• File all ADP reports and biweekly changes
• File all employee correctives and termination reports
• Complete edits for biweekly payroll and monthly reports
• Prepare checks and payroll mail and package for Controllers to place in truck mail for the different locations
• Put postage on all outgoing mail and take to switchboard
• Perform miscellaneous duties (holiday pay, deductions and general office duties)
• Perform other duties assigned by management
Special abilities, required skills, or education needed to perform the essential job functions: High School diploma. Strong computer skills. General office experience preferred.
Physical demands of the job: Lifting record books up to 25 lbs. Sitting for long periods of time.
